Topic:   VVDI2  works for 2009 BMW 3 series all keys lost? Car:  2009 bmw 3 series Key:  There is no working key on the vehicle. All keys lost Question: Can it be done by obd? Vvdi2 Or is it istap? Can vvdi prog read isn? How to: There may be different systems installed on this vehicle, CAS2 or CAS3 / 3 + OR CAS3 + ista you have to connect and you look to see the CAS version, the vvdi will tell you when you connect . VVDI2 Basic Version,What it can do?

What is  VVDI2-BASIC ? VVDI2 BASIC is VVDI2 with basic functions only. The VVDI2 Basic Functions include Transponder Identification, Transponder Configuration /  Manipulation, and Eprom Key Programming by Dump similar to the functions found in the a Tango Programmer.  The VVDI2 Basic will also test frequency of a Remote Transmitter and has the ability to Generate Xhorse Universal Wired and Wireless Remotes(Requires Additional Cable For Wired Remotes). In addition the VVDI2 Basic does not need to be connected to a PC to identify Transponder Types or test Remote Transmitter Frequency.  All of these Basic Functions are also included with the Full Version of VVDI2.
